Circular economy in Kosovo: Opportunities for reusable packaging systems and women’s participation

This report presents the findings of a research study conducted in Kosovo to explore the possibilities of implementing reuse business models within the framework of the Circular Economy (CE). The study utilized a combination of desk research and interviews with stakeholders, focusing on three selected cities: Prishtina, Vushtrri, and Prizren.

The study identified the increasing concern over environmental degradation in Kosovo, emphasizing a growing interest in sustainable practices, particularly in waste management and packaging solutions. Reuse business models were recognized as promising strategies to address environmental impacts and create economic value.
