CITY PRACTITIONERS HANDBOOK Reuse Starter Kit for Food and Beverages

This handbook provides local governments with practical guidance to kickstart reuse systems in the food and beverage sector. It introduces a three-step process for designing and implementing reuse initiatives, a policy toolbox tailored for cities, and global case studies showcasing successful practices. Developed through ICLEI’s Circulars work and the Circular City Lab project implemented by the GIZ, the publication equips city practitioners with tools to reduce single-use plastics, foster collaboration with stakeholders, and advance circular economy goals.
