From Extraction to Resource Recovery, a Systemic Water Concept in Turku
This case study, prepared under the Circular Turku project, introduces the city’s systemic water management approach, which includes protection of ground water resources, energy positive water treatment, and nutrient recovery. Success factors and positive impacts of circularity in the city’s water system are highlighted.
