Alyssa supports cities in integrating more circular systems in their climate and sustainability work. She also provides technical assistance to ICLEI USA members on greenhouse gas inventorying, forecasting, climate action planning, and monitoring using the ClearPath tool.

Before joining ICLEI USA, Alyssa supported several cities and towns in Colorado on their sustainability journeys. She managed the Sustainable Neighborhoods Program in Lakewood, CO, a program that helps cities harness the passion of neighbors for climate action and community resilience. She also supported Lakewood in the areas of sustainability plan annual reporting, sustainable procurement, zero waste strategies, and community engagement. Most recently, Alyssa was the Sustainability Analyst for the Town of Superior, CO where she led the Town through comprehensive planning, development and implementation of its first sustainability plan. Alyssa received a Master of Environmental Management (MEM) from Western Colorado University.
