Rodrigo Corradi assumed the position of Deputy Executive Secretary of ICLEI South America in April 2021. He has been part of ICLEI since June 2020, serving as Manager of Institutional Relations and Advocacy.
He has solid experience in international cooperation among local governments and local resilience. For 13 years, he was part of the International Relations Department of the City of Porto Alegre (Brazil), serving as its Executive Director from 2013 to 2020. During that period, from 2017 to 2020, he was also responsible, as the city’s Director of Resilience, for Porto Alegre’s Resilience Strategy.
Rodrigo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law and a Master’s degree in International Relations, with a specialization in decision-making in international organizations. He is a husband and father of three children, and his family has lived in São Paulo since early 2021.
When he’s not working, you’ll probably find him with his family in a park or reading with them at home. Don’t judge him, but he’s always drinking mate or coffee.
