Laying the Foundations of a Circular Construction Industry

This case study, prepared under the Circular Turku project, introduces the city’s efforts to decrease the lifecycle carbon emissions of built structures through circular innovations, specifically valorization of unused landmasses for reuse in local earthworks through the CircVol project. Success factors and positive impacts of the CircVol innovations are highlighted.
