Calyn Hart
Calyn Hart is a Program Officer with ICLEI USA and supports local governments in the U.S. pacific northwest and southwest regions. Calyn provides technical assistance to local governments for municipal and community greenhouse gas inventorying using the ClearPath tool and forest/trees inventorying using the Land Emissions And Removals Navigator (LEARN) tool. Calyn also supports communities implementing nature based solutions, circular economy solutions and incorporating climate equity throughout the climate action planning process. Calyn received her bachelor’s degree in Environmental Business and a minor in Biology in 2017 from the University of Redlands. Prior to joining ICLEI, Calyn worked for the City of Santa Clara, CA. Calyn updated the City’s LGO and Community-wide GHG inventories, produced the City’s 2018 Climate Action Plan Annual Report, and implemented the City’s Pilot Residential Food Scraps Recycling Program.
